Senior Art Director and Illustrator
HEALTH SCIENCE COMMUNICATIONS INC., NEW YORK, NY (1994-2009)
Conceptualized, designed, and directed the production of a wide array of projects. This included interpreting often complex medical subject material and topics into coherent and visually striking design solutions for CME symposiums, advisory boards, patient-related brochures, slide kits, monographs, product research and launch materials, newsletters, event posters, medical illustration, and more. Created numerous logos and icon graphics for various CME initiatives and new business pitches.

WILLIAM ALTMAN ADVERTISING INC., NEW YORK, NY (1990-1994)
Provided art direction, design, and production for a variety of advertising and promotional materials for major cultural and educational institutions in New York. Projects included brochures, logos, newsletters, magazine ads, and advertising for The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York City Ballet, New York Historical Society, Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, College for Human Services, 92nd Street Y, Joffrey Ballet, Carnegie Hall, MoMA, Polytechnic University, and many others.
Responsible for mechanicals, layout comping, board skills, type-specing, and production of all print pieces. Maintained studio and supplies. Worked with vendors and offset printers.

Graphic design and production of advertising and collateral materials for various food industry clients, banking and financial industry, health care communications, and businesses targeted to the Jewish market. Designed ads, logos, invitations, newsletters, trade-show graphics, as well as comping and mockups of campaign concepts. Worked with account executives, clients, and vendors. Maintained studio and supplies.

Graphic design and production assistance for package design firm serving cosmetic industry clients. Assisted art directors with general board skills, product comps, and construction of 3-D models, as well as stat camera operation and studio maintenance.
